Meet The Loop Factory at Textiles Recycling Expo.
Europe is facing a growing textile waste challenge. At the Textiles Recycling Expo in Brussels, Maria Ström will share how nonwoven technologies can help turn textile waste into scalable material solutions.
In her presentation, "Nonwoven pathways: scaling circular solutions for Europe’s textile waste challenge", Maria will share examples of how textile waste can be transformed into new applications that work in real production environments. The talk highlights our approach to bridging the gap between material innovation and industrial implementation.
One example is Snowwool, where wool waste has been transformed into a nonwoven material used to preserve snow between seasons. The project demonstrates how overlooked material streams can become high-value applications when performance, scalability and real-world testing are part of the development process.
