Why recycled fibres matter.
Our latest Life Cycle Assessment shows that mechanically recycled textile fibres can have up to 80% lower climate impact than benchmark primary polyester in the assessed scenarios.
In the assessed nonwoven product scenario, fibre production accounts for the majority of the product’s climate impact, so choosing recycled fibres can make a real difference to overall climate performance.
