The Loop Factory (“The Loop Factory”, “Company”, “we”, “our” and “us”), a Swedish-based company provides this website, www.loopfactory.se (the “Website”), which is subject to the following privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”). The Loop Factory cares about your privacy and values your privacy. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to provide you with information about how we process personal data about you and for which purposes. 

B. Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data? 

The Loop Factory AB, with company registration number 556960-4654, is responsible (controller) for the processing of your personal data as described in this Privacy Policy. C. Information about personal data we process  

The personal data that we collect, use and process depends on the context of your interactions with The Loop Factory, the nature of our relationship and applicable law. However, the personal data we collect broadly falls into the following categories:

  • When you represent a company that is a customer or potential customer to us 

  • When you represent a company that is a supplier or partner to us 

  • When you visit our website; or 

  • When you contact us, communicate with us, or subscribe to information from us.

I) When you represent a customer or potential customer to us 


We process personal data from the representatives of our existing and potential clients. The personal data are collected with the purpose to communicate with the representatives, to administer and facilitate agreements with us, to provide customer service, and to manage support matters. The personal data we process is mainly the name and contact information, for example email address, telephone number and other information that the customer provides us with. The processing is based on our legitimate interest to communicate with our customers, to negotiate, enter into and fulfil agreements, and to maintain customer service. The data is stored as long as we have a business relationship with the company. We will stop processing your personal data if we become aware that you no longer represent the company.

II) When you represent a company that is a supplier or partner to us 

We process personal data from the representatives of our existing and potential supplier or partner. Personal data are collected with the purpose to communicate with the representatives, to administer and facilitate agreements with us. The personal data that we process is mainly the name and contact information, for example email address and telephone number and other information the supplier or partner provides to us. The processing is based on our legitimate interest to communicate with our suppliers, to negotiate, enter into and fulfil agreements. Personal data are stored as long as we have a business relationship with the company. We will stop processing your personal data if we become aware that you no longer represent the company. 

III) Information you provide to us on the The Loop Factory Website or otherwise:

The Loop Factory can be contacted through various means, such as through form submissions, to inquire about our services. For example, we may ask you to provide certain personal data when you express an interest in obtaining information about us or our service. We may also collect personal data from you in person at industry events, during introduction meetings, and others. D. How we use, share and retain personal data 

Personal data is primarily processed by us at The Loop Factory and by employees who need the personal data to carry out their work duties. We may share and disclose your personal data to the following types of parties for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:

  • Our IT-service providers who will process the personal data on our behalf as processors.

  • We may also disclose personal data to our partners, suppliers, and subcontractors, but only if it is necessary. 

When the receiving party of personal data is considered as an independent controller, the privacy policy of that party will apply.

  • To manage the The Loop Factory Website and system administration and security.

Customers and visitors who have opted-in to our marketing emails can opt out of receiving marketing emails from us at any time by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of our marketing messages.

 We retain personal data where we have an ongoing legitimate business or legal need to do so. Our retention periods will vary depending on the type of personal data involved, but generally, we’ll refer to these criteria to determine the retention period:

  • Social media platforms and widgets. The The Loop Factory Website includes social media features, such as the LinkedIn Company Page. These features may collect information about your IP address and which page you are visiting on our Website, and they may set a cookie to make sure the feature functions properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Website. Any information, communications, or materials you submit to us via a social media platform is done at your own risk without any expectation of privacy. We cannot control the actions of other users of these platforms or the actions of the platforms themselves. Your interactions with those features and platforms are governed by the privacy policies of the companies that provide them. 

  • Links to third-party websites. The The Loop Factory Website includes links to other websites, whose privacy practices may be different from ours. If you submit personal data to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy policies. We encourage you to carefully read the privacy policy of any website you visit.

G. Your data protection rights 

According to the applicable data protection legislation, an individual is entitled to a variety of rights when it comes to processing of its personal data. If an individual wants to exercise its rights, we will handle the request and reply no later than within one month from receiving the request. The handling of the request may take up to three months depending on the complexity.

We respond to all requests we receive from individuals wishing to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws. We may ask you to verify your identity in order to help us respond efficiently to your request. You can read more about your rights below.  

Right to information 

You have the right to be provided with information about how your personal data is processed.  

Right to access 

You have the right to obtain confirmation from us as to whether or not we are processing personal data concerning you. If we process your personal data you have the right to obtain a copy of the personal data processed by us and information on how we process them. . 

Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten”) 

You have the right to obtain from us the erasure of personal data concerning you. By such request, we will erase personal data that are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed. We will also erase your personal data if you withdraw your consent on which the processing is based. In some cases, we will not have the possibility to erase your personal data. That depends on if the personal data either still is necessary to process for the purpose they were collected for, or that our interest of continuing the processing outweighs your interest of getting them erased, or that we have a legal requirement of retaining them. 

Right to restriction of processing  

You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data where one of the following principles applies:  

a) you contest the accuracy of the personal data; 

b) the processing is unlawful and you oppose the erasure of the personal data and request the restriction of their use instead; 

c) we no longer need the personal data for the purposes of the processing, but they are required by you for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims; or 

d) you have objected to processing pursuant to Article 21(1) pending the verification whether our legitimate grounds override those of yours. 

 
Right to data portability 

You have the right to receive your personal data, which you have provided to us, in a structured commonly used, and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller. 

Right to object 

You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data. The right to object is applicable when the processing is based on the legal basis “legitimate interest”. However, in some cases the right to object cannot be met (e.g. when we must store your personal data). If we can show legitimate reasons for the processing that outweigh your interests and rights or if it is for the purpose of determining, practicing or defending legal claims you will not have a successful objection. 

Right to lodge a complaint to a supervisory authority  

You always have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority in Sweden is the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.

We may change this Policy from time to time. The most recent version of the Privacy Policy is reflected by the version date located at the top of this Privacy Policy.
